Im relocating my flares up a few inches and now its time for the paint. I want them black to match my rockerguard lowers. Any ideas what I can use to paint them that WONT come off easily? Tremclad?

you might want to post this in the picture showcase thread, but anyways, try bedliner paint.

I used the cheap paint from wal-mart. Sanded with fine sand paper. Wiped with alchol & painted. Lasted about 2 yrs. before they needed touched up. The touch up was needed because of trail abuse. They were not peeling. JIM.

If it's a pre 97 with the non-painted factory flares, do the propane torch trick.
Use a small propane torch to heat the flare up and it will bring back the black like magic. Hold the flame 3-4 inches away and just move back and forth. Don't hold it in one place for too long or you'll toast it. Works like a charm and lasts for months. Better than Armor All, Flash Black etc. Try it, you'll be amazed at the results. Just did mine.
