do you have any of the actual numbers from the test.
NoX and CO2 readings and such.

You may want to go to another test site. I had something like this happen to our vehicle and it turned out that their analyzer was tanked. I ended up going to another test site and passed!

Whens the last time you had the battery disconnected or reset engine codes?
The codes that were not ready take about 500 miles and highway speeds to reset.

Welcome to Illinois' "new" way of testing, I does not matter what the numbers are, if your OBD II does not read, it does not pass. Langer is on the right track.

New Jersey does the same thing with '98 and newer vehicles. Makes life easy for me because my check engine light is on (catylitic convertor efficency below specified limits). I use my scanner/code clear unit to clear the codes. NJ does allow two sensors to be "Not ready". As posted above, a disconnected battery will dump the codes. Mine takes about 30 miles to reset everything except the heated O2 sensor. That requires a cold start cycle. I'd try another facility as posted or get a scanner and check them yourself.

move to minnesota, our former gov. of wrestling fame closed the program, and sold the facilities...but some pin head legislator is pushing for CA. level testing. good luck

Actually they just did away with the test all together in SW ohio. !!

(BTW how do you put smilies in the posts on this forum?)
