93 YJ hp30 brake pades and rotor on my 96?

am i correct that the rotars and brakes are same 91-98 with hp dana 30's. my friend just took his 30 off and was wondering if i could use his brand new brakes and fairly new rotors bc my rotor is all messed up grinding no pad left. haha. thanks all btw idiot at autozone didnt know my question.
