I've also heard that you can get a very straight cut more easily by starting the engine and putting the shifter in neutral, with no driveshaft the output shaft will spin, or so I hear.

You should be able to find a LOT of people on here running them by doing a SEARCH.

Actually, you take the driveshaft off and put it in reverse, then take an angle grinder to it. When the shaft spinning, even if you cut at a slight angle, the cut will straight.

I've been running the hack and tap along with many of my friends for years with up to 37" tires and never had one fail. I've installed quite a few and can do an entire install with CV driveshaft in an hour. I highly recommend the H&T.
