I want to swap to the 999? that is in the TJ. It has the spline count that I want and it's a easily controllable 3 speed. Does anyone know if it is computer controlled or any of that. It would be nice if it just slaps in with no hookups, but I'm sure I can't be that lucky.

No electronics at all, bolt it on a go. Once mine is a trailer queen that's the route I'm going.

I'm thinking it was in the YJ's.
But I'm dumb.

I'm thinking it's in the YJ's AND the TJ's. Now to find one for >$100.

what spline count would that be? and when you say easily controllable, do you mean with additional switches like some do to the AW4?

Alright there Capt'n Obvious, I think that most everyone here nows that I meant <$100. I love the amount of tech you've been adding to the boards lately.
Now back to our regualrly scheduled programming:
When I pull the plug off of my tranny and don't plug it back in, is this going to screw with the computer and make my engine run worse than it already does? I geuss what I'm asking is, am I going to need a comp from a stick shift xj?
