budjet boost question

i am looking to put about 6.5 inches on my new jeep by febuary. on top of that i want to go an aditional 2-3 inches to fit 315/70/16 mtrs. i was curious as to if any body has ever used chevy drop shackles to lift the rear of their jeep? i have read the people use the factory shackles to atain .75 inches of lift. and the 2" lowering shackles u could gain like 2.25 to or so i would guess. the reason i am asking is because i can get lowering shackles and half the cost of 2 inch lift shackles.

Why do you need that much lift for that size tire? Put a 4.5" lift on, trim, and its fine.
