I have a 97 cherokee with a 3 inch rustys, and I am going to buy some BF goodrich all terrain 32X11.5R15 tires and im wondering if I am going to need new bumpstops in the front and the rear?

safe bet you will need some new bumpstops. you can also trim the plastic flares too without making the thing look like a hack-job.

you can make your own bumpstops like I did. For the front use some hockey pucks 2 or 3 should work for you. For the rear I bought new ones with YJ bumpstops I got off my brother.

I have a 97 with the RE 3.5 inch lift

Instead of bump stops simply going flairless nets over an inch more clearance in the front wheel well. If your state is not real picky over full tire coverage

I trimmed some of the fender liner, bumper end caps and not the metal. I put the fender liner back in with some short 1/4 - 20 bolts. Someday I will paint the area where the flairs where with some black herc, or por15.

In the back it does not net you the same amount in the wheel well.

The tires are 31x10.50 As you can see in the front I think I could still clear 32s. I only rub on the LCA at full lock and that is an issue with the rims and not the bumpstops

And flexed (poser style)

I think you need some longer control arms in front to move the axle forward. If you did that you would be able to clear a larger tire.
