Ok so I am still kinda new to this whole gearing thing. I know that I want to use 4.10 gears with a 3" lift on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 5-speed. What I don't know is where I can buy these gears. I saw some on ebay but I don't know if I have a Dana 30 axle in the front and rear. I know I have to get a set of gears for the front and back but I don't wanna buy the wrong ones. Can anybody help me sort this out.
Thanks
Joe

Check the likes of Randys ring and pinion,4wheel parts wholesale, or any good 4x4 shop in your neck of the woods.

If you have ABS then you have a D35,non-ABS would be a C8.25 (rear). In the front you have a LP D30 which requires the semi-special "LP/short" pinion.

Heres a better idea. Being the noob you profess to be, why not find a good driveline / gear shop and pay them to handle this for you.

PM Rawbrown (Ryan), he'll hook you up with some good prices.
