Weird little tidbit..

My 95's pass. side pwr window stopped working a while ago, so I figured I'd try and fix it...

anyways while testing the switch, I noticed a logo stamped on switch, just below the lever... it was hard to see.... it looked kind of circular...almost oval-like.....the font inside was wavy like script....so I got out the flashlight, and it read:

"FORD"


There's probably at least 10 little blue ovals out there on just about every pre-97 XJ!

The glovebox latch is Ford as well, I found that interesting. Oh well, you know what AMC stands for don't ya? Thats right, "All Makes Combined"

Also has the logo for EATON, so I guess they made the switch..are they owned by Ford?
