How many stinking tubing bender threads do we really need anyway?

Anyone have first hand experience with this one?

looks like the one Speedway motors sells I don't think it will hold up to alot of pressure, but should work for smaller stuff

This one seems pretty slick:

Shouldn't take much to build either. Guess I better be checking on die and follower prices....

Used a setup like that in another shop awhile ago. It's not bad, would be fine for the DIYer. For shop use I'd never get one, not just becaues it's manual but because getting the start of bend aligned right with a large hoop sucks. That and it was sometimes difficult to get long pieces stable with it bending vertical.

I've got a buddy that rolled his YJ pretty bad.. couple months later, it's not much of a YJ... mostly tube buggy and he's done all of his work on that exact bender. I gave it a shot and was ready to slit my wrists after about 4 bends.
