Getting alot of tire scrub and squealng during cornering and tight turns around town. Mostly when in right turns, also notice more wear on the outer tread edge up front than in back.
Steering wheel is slow to return to center.
Any ideas?

Lots of 'em. Mostly bad ones, tho...

Certain tires tend to squeal and scrub a lot on XJ's by their nature. The Xj can cut a REALLY tight circle, and doing so at anything less than a crawling speed will chew up any tire.

The more you do that, the more the outside edge of the front tires will wear.

In short, leave the autocrossing to the sports cars!

You might need an alignment as well... but it might just be chalked up to "normal behavior".
