sensor question

there is a sensor in which i am not sure of...i have a couple of pictures at http://www.angelfire.com/ga/pocketchange/sensor.html if someone could just look at those and let me know the factory name and anything else it may be called i'd appreciate it...thanks in advance

There are two sensors on the driver's side of the block. One is the water temp...which goes into the water jacket. The other...probably the one you broke is the "Knock Sensor". It screws into the block but only into metal and is located near the bottom of the block...does not go into the water jacket or oil jacket. It's purpose is to sense detonation and send a signal to the ecu to retard the engine timing...
