xj with no carpet question

Do you hear alot of gear type noise from your tcase and tranny? Its an auto. I never heard anything till I yanked my carpet, I know that it will be louder but how much noise is normal?

yes of course! i have a 99 auto and it is hella loud especially with my t case and driveline vibration with 35's, 4.56 gear and no carpet. honestly on the highway i have to talk a little louder and get a loud stereo to compensate! oh yeah the 35's are bias plyed and have a few dead spots so after some new pro comp mud terrains that will help on noise
