i have a 8.25 and want a selectable locker but only ARB has one. i would like the Eaton Elocker, but they don't make it yet. so all of us with the 8.25 should contact them and say 2offroad wants a Elocker so make him one. selfcentered i know but i want one.

If you're asking about shaft strength, the 8.25 is much closer in strength to the D35 than the D44, not to mention it uses C-clips. D35 shafts (IIRC) are 1.17", 8.25 shafts are 1.21", and D44 are 1.31". The 8.25 axle tubes are larger than than both of the other axles, but I don't know how thick the tube wall is.

Here's the info I compiled when doing my research. I decided to resell my 44 and stick with my 8.25 for expense reasons. I am only running 32's and do am not heavy on the foot. Hope this helps!

Also note no carrier break on the 8.25.
