1991 4.0 HO 200,000 miles and getting tired
Just started with this problem: Starts quickly but immediately stalls once or twice in the mornings, stalls occasionally at stop lights (in Neutral or Drive) but starts right back up.
Recent fuel pump, filter, and Optima Yellow Top. Tuned up within the last year, exhaust replaced 3 mo ago, O2 sensor was fine.
Thinking back, I had this problem 2 months ago after a deep mud crossing but it went away after an hour or so when everything dried out.
I'm guessing MAP sensor (based on some searching) and am going to pick one up, any other ideas?
I'm headed out to help build some trails this weekend and want to throw a replacement for the most likely culprits in my tool box. If something fails, I have plenty of help but want to have the necessary parts with me.
