I have 2 8ft square tube metal laying around 2.5 x 2.5 x 1/4in thick, I was looking at building some rock rails, and using some 1 1/2 square tubing to make the supports to connect it to the frame... I plan on connecting an exsoskeleton to the rails... Is this over kill? The way I look at it is the unibody still hangs lower that the rails will, so I wont be losing a whole lot of ground clearance since Im sitting at 8.5 inches of lift.. Thoughts?
