Quick exhausts Question

IM not a newbie but I don't really know much about the stock exhausts. Im about to get a flowmaster 40. Is the super 40 louder and I forgot what the stock inlet tube size is(2.25 or 2.5) and is it better to go with a 2.5 outlet?

It's 2.25" in with an offset 2.25" outlet. The 40s are louder than the 50s, but I'm not sure where the 'super' falls in there. Read through www.flowmastermufflers.com for more info on their products and sounds

jus installed a 40 series today. Not too thrilled with teh sound. ts more loud than throaty but its heaven compared to running strait headers for the past week and a half.
