Will NP231's Swap???

i am wondering if a 93 XJ NP231 with 5-speed will fit into a 97 XJ Auto?

and if it doesnt, how hard is it to swap the input shafts?

i swaped the input shaft from a 242 into a 231. it was pretty straight foreward, just be carefull with the bearing for the input, it may be different. If you have to swap it, dont mess it up.

You need to shorten the input shaft for the AW4.
