Trying to help my friend install a lockright in his dana 35. I've installed lockrights in 2 other 35s and they used a bolt to hold the cross pin in. This one uses what looks to be a dowel that is pressed in. Does anyone have any idea how to get this thing out?! And once you get it out, can you get anything to put back in its place?

Ive only removed the crosspin from a D35 with a trac-loc, but it sounds to me that you either have a roll pin that you have to punch out somehow with the carrier out of the pumpkin, or the crosspin bolt is sheared.

I had to punch it out, but you may have to remove the left carrier retainer.
