I am rebuilding my leaf spring packs.
I need measurements for my new center pins - longer than stock.
(diameter, length & ?)
I also need measurements to order new leaf spring clamps.

Could someone here please help me?

Stock leaf springs use a 5/16" center pin, while RE uses a larger 3/8" pin - the stock sized ones are readily available at most spring shops while you may have to order the larger one from RE. Length? Long enough to go through the springpack plus the u-bolt plate and still have enough room for the nut(s). YMMV.

ones from parts stores come pretty long, in almost all cases you will have to cut them, but theyre threaded almost the whole way so its not a problem
ive made some leaf packs before so thats where i get my info

I use grade 8 socket head cap screws(the kind you use allen wrenches on) for them. Works damn slick and they are cheaper than buying pins from a spring shop.

But, I live 25 miles from a spring shop, and ACE 5 miles away sells the screws, so avaliablity is a huge factor.
