D44 EZ Locker question re: spacer "cups"

88 XJ D44 rear axle.

EZLocker question: The spacer 'cups' that slip inside the EZLocker clutches between the axle shaft ends and the cross-shaft... which end does the "cup" side of the spacer face?... towards the end of the axle shaft -or- toward the carrier & cross-shaft?

How you enjoying the installation? Not too bad is it? 2 down for me and a couple more in the future.

Installation is easy... pretty much a no brainer except for deciphering which end of the spacer faced the center of the carrier... Front axle was no problem but rear is a sloppy loose / noisy / vibratin' mess and was trying to eliminate causes.

Thanks for the pdf - I did that much right... no clue what the vibration issue is then.
