can i put brake callipers from a 94 on my 89?

i bought some cross drilled rotors for a 92-99 thinking they would work if i just swap out everything (calipers, pads)

my front brakes are horrible, one of my calipers is actually locked up a lil bit right now... and they need to be fixed b4 i get in a wreak

The dimensions are different across the years for front brake parts- the rule is that hub, rotor and caliper need to be from the same generation (and maybe knuckle/caliper mount?). There are basically three generations, using different hub thickness and disk hat depth. I saved this note- not much detail: They will bolt up but they will also put your '90 rotors in a bind...you need to use a late model rotor with a late model hub. (or at least I did) (Putting 1999 hubs on a 1990 XJ)
