long arms with rubber bushings??

alright say I build some long arms with rubber OEM bushings istead of poly
or RE joints
other than the life of the bushing will be short

what would happen

should flex and ride niclely.... i personaly would rather have a poly bushing.... I just really hate the way the rubber bushings crap out....

Here is a writeup of the long arms I built. I use rubber on the front of the long arm and a spherical on the rear. You really need the extra cushion of the rubber if you want a smooth ride. Set up the way I did mine, I think the rubber will outlast a trail rig.

You NEED the rubber to absorb the binding from the "radius" arms!

If you have radius arms on both sides.

In fact you have to run rubber if your front end has radius arms on both sides. I run a single upper arm with my long arms and i have RE superflex joints on both ends. No need for a rubber bushing

OK so I got youir guys attention...
I mean on bothe ends of the long arm
both at the axle end and the end that would be at the bracket that I fab just like
old mans set up except no RE joints or currie joints
