Well I finally isolated my leak. It seems to be coming from the seam filler (?) on the passenger footwell. Also the heater fan is leaking from the engine bay through some 15 year old foam gasket.
I got some por-15 and was going to use this as a sealer, spreading it over the entire floorboards. Is it okay to use this as a sealer? Should I just spread it over the factory seam filler, or should I first replace the sealer w/ silicon and then por it?
For the heater fan, I was going to silicon the heck out of the engine side, w/o removing the fan. Good idea?? Bad idea??
If anyone has done this, please let me know what you have done. I just want to do this once and do it right.
