ok well here is the deal
i have a 1989 jeep cherokee pioneer 4.0 4x4
it runs fine, and at normal running temperatures, but when i come to red lights which last for more than 1 minute, the temp will start rising, and will overheat. im confused, because today at work i flushed my coolant system, it was wierd because after i put the flush fluid in, and let it run , it overheated in idle, but when i went to drain the system, i turned the drain plug on the radiator, the fluid came out but was still the same temp as when i put it in, but when i unscrewed the cap on the coolant container, hot coolant came out. so what do i do ??? is this a thermastat or a clogged radiator ??? please help, my jeeps in the shop right now : (
