[font=&quot]If I put the “tail section” from a 2000 Tj on my 87 case with an 87 shaft will it seal? I am running a 2000 tj t-case with an RE Hack n Tap behind my 23 spline ax15 but the shaft is bent so I want to put my 87 T case back in with the 23 spline input and tail section from the 2000 case. (I miss the vac switch for the ft axle)[/font]

Do a search for "cheap sye" or posts by Tom Houston on this topic. I believe he was the one who made his cheap hack and tap sye using an older output shaft with the newer tail cone. He'll have an answer on sealing the two pieces.
