Does anyone know if the driver and passenger seats in a 92 4 door are interchangable? My driver seat leans and sags and the passenger one is in much, much better shape.

I swapped just the seat bottoms on my 91.
You still need to remove and disassemble the seats to do this, but atleast the recline lever remains on the correct side of the seat. Seatbelt loop is flipped.

So the seatbacks will go as well? It's leaning pretty far back and towards the outside.

Yes they will, the reclining lever on both seats will be toward the console which is kind of a pain, but is worth it in your case.
