Can I run these shocks?

I have an 89 Cherokee with 5.5 lift on it. I can't find the valving on these model numbers. The only 6248 and 6249 I can find on the internet are H5. I know the 6249 is 17.9 inch compressed. I don't know if that will work on a 5.5 inch lift. Thanks. If modifications required, how much? Thanks again.
