key stuck in door

The door key broke in half in the lock. Has anyone else had this happen? Anyone know how to get the rest of the key out without calling a locksmith? The power locks don't work so well and I'm getting tired of having to unlock it from the passenger side. Thanks. Phil

Put a piece of gum or a small drop of super glue on a paper clip end and touch it to the broke key and broke key only and hold it there til it dries then pull it right out. Hypothetically of course, but I have heard it work before.

Key slid right out when the glue was dry. Took maybe five minutes to find glue and a paper clip, and get the piece out. Thanks. Phil
