DC safety recall

recall #D-17 its some kind of safety recall

If you just received it today, it's probably new enough that most of us won't have heard about it. So give us a hint -- what does the notice say it's for?

Hope its for the fuel pump or evaporator..... probably something stupid though, I should get so lucky....

I saw a DC recall numbered #D17, but it was for the town and country, and it was somthing about an airbag light.

Are you certain it's a recall? As of this evening, the NHTSA web site only lists four recalls for the '98 Cherokee, and the most recent was May of 2000.

When I had mine at the local dealer for the steering box work they also did the front rotors and relocated the airbag sensor to a dryer location.

yup thats it! it also mentions the Town and Country, thats why i was so confused... i don't have it by me, but it mentions something about airbag lights...
