TJ MC & Booster into '88????(searched)

anyone swapped a MC/booster from a new TJ into an '88 or similar. the rod looks like it is identical(has offset hole). there may be a slight difference in length, but i'm not sure.

I haven't been able to find info for TJ to XJ. only XJ/ZJ to XJ.

I've been Googling for hours with no luck.

Can't help on the TJ but a 95 & 96 XJ is a direct bolt in (with the aluminum wedge spacer). It does require enlarging the bolt hole and grinding the flat on the back for the early brake lite switch. If you use the late proportioning valve you only need standard 5/16" lines to extend the originals - otherwise you need metric adapters and made up double flared lines.
