Caliper Allen size

I have an 88 xj and I need to get the right sized allen wrench for removing the calipers. Does anyone know what size came standard on that year XJ.
I'm thinking a allen socket would be better.

The 89 I had 7mm allen bolts. Its a wierd size, same as my old VW Jetta though. Luckly, I had a allen socket from the car. A socket will make your brake job go much easier.

Actually I'm putting in an Aussie locker. 7mm ? That is a pretty good size right ? No wonder the standard sizes I have won't fit. Thanks
