alternative to K&N filter

I know there was some talk a while about about how effective the K&N filters where and how much crap may be let through. I ran accrossed this company that claims filtration to 5 micron's. http://greenfilterusa.com/default.asp I'll probably try one of these out to replace my pretty worn K&N.

the old one is really trashed. Lots of little pinholes and oil stains and the rubber around the top part of the cone is starting to crack.

There is an air fiter there? I went with the AirHawg from Fram and am pretty happy with it. Would be interesting how the Green matches up with the K&N and the AirHawg.

i have an airhog as well but I've had K&N in the past. Different vehicles so I have no clue if one is better. I just think one's orange and one's pink. The only pink in my rig is on the ladies.
