leaking tranny fluid

so i noticed something new today...when i parked on a downward slope nose down my jeep leaked a substantial amount of it. When i park level or upward there was never a leak. i have a slip yoke elim. but doubt that is the problem. Could it be the d-shaft is pushing down and a seal is leaking? just when i thought i was trouble free

Do you have an auto or stick? Also is it leaking out of the tcase or tranny(if it is an auto)?

Sounds kinda like a front t-case seal.

How many miles on the t-case seals?

Mine lasted about 220k and then both needed to be replaced.

auto and the tcase was from a salvage yard 5 yrs ago so i have no clue how many miles are on it. Im at work so i have to check tonight when i get home to see just where the leak is. T.Y. for the replies
