First off,YES I have searched,but didnt find what I need.My brother-in-law has an '87 XJ with the vac axle.We want to swap in a 1 piece axle to loose the disconect. Is this possible? Can I put in a regular axle seal in the housing?Or do we have to get a whole housing?Any links or help is greatly appreciated!

You'll need to add a seal at the carrier and block off the hole left by removing the vacuum motor and you'll be set. Installing the seal can be problematic but it can be done.

doesn't Warn sell a kit? (to go with their hub conversion) might wanna check with them.
