10 Lb. residual pressure on drum brakes

Is anyone running a residual valve on the rear drums? I've read it will hold the shoes closer to the drums. I have been experimenting with the parking brake and found that one to two "clicks" makes braking MUCH better but still gives no drag on the brakes. I bought the valve, but haven't installed it yet.

That sounds like a great answer to a problem that doesn't exist. If you can pull up on the parking brake lever enough to improve braking without inducing any drag, your brake shoes need to be adjusted.
