Hi guys. A few weeks ago, driving to work, I noticed my tack rapidly jittering up and down over a ~250 rpm range. I have 152k on the stock clutch, so I was like "S**T!!". However, the engine didn't sound or feel like it was changing speed, so I don't think it was a clutch. It has been fine ever since, but this morning driving to work I noticed I was taching 2k rpm at 55 mph and 2250 rpm at 65. Normally 55 gives me 1750 rpm and 65 gives me 2k. I tapped on the gage, but nothing happened. I put it in neutral and reved the engine to 4 or 5 k, then put her back into 5th. Lo and behold, every thing setteled 250 rpm back where it should be. What could cause such a weird tach problem?
