a story about how i F'd things up

so im at shucks replacing a hose to unclog the typical jeep blowby problem. nothin unusal when u get have a older cherokee. im prying on the grommtet on the valve cover and my hand slips, breaks the heater control valve for the anitfreeze. its goin everywhere, and now i cant even drive it. I finally decided to just disconnect the wholse system and clog all holes so i could make it home. the part i have a feeling will cost me around 200 as well. So much for just trying to make the car runa little better.
is there a place i could get this dealership only part for way cheaper?

If you're talking about the control valve with 4 coolant hoses on it, it's only about $16 at AutoZone.

I got a metal one from Monument Car Parts in my town. My original was plastic. The bigger places didn't have it but they did. Check around some more.
