Blanca on the 24th

A friend and I are planning a run up Mt. Blanca on July 24th. Anyone else interested is welcome. We are planning on camping with kids at the Sand Dunes on Friday night and camping at the lake at the end of Blanca on Saturday. Sunday will be the trip down and home to Colorado Springs.

We plan to go into the Sand Dunes over Madeno pass. This is a easy trail with a good section of deep sand road at the end leading up to the camp ground.

Anyone intrested in Mt. Blanca on the 24th who doesn't want to make a week end of it can meet us at the trail head at 10:00 am. Please post a message if you want to join up at the trail head so we know to look for you.

Our plan have change and we will no longer stay at the top of the Mt.
Blanca trail. The plan is to go up and down on Saturday the 24th. We plan to be at the trail head at 9:00am to since it will be a full day.
