crazy problem

it seems that in my 91 with 5 inches and 32's when i get on the gas hard in first gear i get a noticable jurk and clunk in the steering wheel....checked all the linkage...it seems to be tight...i went as far back as the u-joints (knowing that not being in 4-wheel drive they shouldn't cause the problem)

any ideas?

look at the trackbar mount( the one on frame) and look at the motor mounts,
i had almost the same thing and it was the motor mounts.

Check your rear ubolts. When you bust the rear spring centering pin the rear axle will move around & cause the Jeep to jerk to one side.
