Tellico Permit...?

I was told on some other boards that Tellico is now requiring you to have a permit to ride out there. Something about some land damage or something like that. Me and A BUNCH of others from Jeepin.com are planning a trip up there in mid May....but we don't want to get up there and not be able to ride...is there any truth to this?

If you are charging an event fee and plan to make money off the ride then you will need to get a permit. If this is just a bunch of people getting togther and riding then all you do is stop at the pay station and pay your $5 per day to ride.
