Anyone have a suggestion on the best all around manual for late 90 jeep models, I own a 97 and a 99 Cherokee, looking for something with a really good engine troubleshooting guide, and just all around comprehensive, for late 90 jeeps I have a Hanes and some manuals for older models but I would like to find the best, I've looked at several but according to them there all the best, need Input Thanks.

I have both Haynes and Chiltons for the Cherokee. Both try to cover all years in a book half (or less) the size of what the factory uses to cover one year. That should tell you something.
Get a factory manual for one of your two years. The 97 and 99 are close enough that most information will apply to both. There were no major changes from 97 to 99.
