How much play in rear transfer output

How much sideways play are allowed in the rear transfer output? My transfer is a 242. I have an oil leak there and the seal is gonna be replaced.

I don´t really know what the allowable tolerance is, but mine has about .050 or .060 at the U joint, with the tranny in neutral. I replaced the seal about a year ago, with an OEM seal (seemed more robust than Fel Pro). The seal is a little moist, but is slinging no oil. There is very little ridge worn into the yoke. Seems OK so far. When I slap the side of the yoke with my palm, I can hear a little tick, but the bushing seems relatively tight, a tight .0025 between the yoke and bushing (cold), measured pushing the yoke to one side, with a flat, tappet type feeler gauge.
