Dust cap

I had to torche out my u-joints in my front shafts on my d-30. i melted one of the dust caps that help keep the stuff out of the axle tube. Is it worth getting a new one or not?

i would just leave it, i mean, stuff gets in there anyway right?

It just holds the mud in. If you switch to Warn shafts the end caps don't fit anyhow and you have to leave them off.

yeah that is the same thing that I was thinkin! Stuff can still get in there anyways.
