Built Dana 30, Suggestions Please!!!!

Hey guys I really need your advice on this one. I found this built D30 for sale. I know a lot of people hate the D30, but this does seem highly polished and should survive my 33"s and Northeast terrain. Let me know what you guys think. TIA...

Well, from somebody here who hasn't done this...

I'd think hydro steer is a bit much for 33" tires...

Couldn't I yank the hydo steering and just use the hysteer regular?

for 1600 you could build a hp44, maybe not with an ox locker, but everything else would be comperable. notice how long this d30 has been for sale, that should tell you something. id have no problem running one or talking about the benefits of it, but at $1600 i dont really see too many benefits.

Thanks Hunter, I think I will stay away from that D30, Plus I saw Karmir has a D44 for sale, what do you guys think of this axle?

just an fyi, this guy has been trying to sell that axle for nearly half a year now, I think you could probably talk him down below $1600

Get a Super 30 kit with the Chomo Shafts, up graded u-joints and a ARB. Put in the right gears and call it a day. Juice
