It allows you to set your stall on your torque converter, it plugs right into the transmission computer.
Any one know where I can find one for a 1991 jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0

i'm pretty certain there is no way to change the stall speed on a torque convertor without pulling the tranny and actually changin the torque convertor

i know for certain that there is no way to do this from the computer, as it only gives 3 outputs to the tranny, 2 for gear selection and 1 for torque convertor lockup.

perhaps that is what you are talking about, torque convertor lockup, it's different than stall speed, and it's very easy to be able to lock it manually, link here: http://www.bigoffroad.com/pages/bigpages/bigtech/2ndgear.htm

Its listed for ‘87-‘90 Cherokees, but I’m pretty sure it will also work on ‘91s. As long as you have the transmission power/comfort switch on your dash. Call up Hesco and they can tell you for sure.
