runs and drives but likes to die

i have a 94 xj that will run just fine but occasionally it likes to drop RPM all of a sudden, it will go from about 2500rpm or so then it will drop to about 1000 before it comes alive again.

its almost like the fuel shuts off for a quick second before turning on again.

when im at idle and the rpm drops, the jeep will die and it will take quite a few cranks before it will start again.

i just did a full blown tuneup, no check engine light, i checked all connectors (no corosion) and the jeep is still acting up. i have been told it could be cps, tps etc... has anybody else had this problem?

yeah had the same problem, it was my tps. if you take it to autozone they can test it for you.
