4.10 or 4.56 gears for 8.25

Small, this may not be what you want to hear, but I would strongly advise against getting used gears for the 8.25. For some axles it is ok and the risk of getting noise is low, but with an 8.25 the risk of getting noise even with new gears is higher than normal, so getting used gears just escalates the problem. I have an 8.25 with 4.56s in it that I bought used and they howl like a coyote. It's quite aggravating. Just my words of advice. You can save $100 now or spend $300 later when you have to have the gears redone. HTH
