I have JKS quicker discos installed and was thinking about their rationale for installing the U-strap above the swaybar. Their justification is that when the truck is up on a lift, the u-strap will handle the bulk of the load instead of the bolt, thus preventing possible failure. But it is very rare (at least in my case) that the axle will be allowed to droop with no support. So when the spring compresses during normal driving manuevers, the bolt will bear all of the load with the u-strap above the swaybar. I noticed that other disco manufacturers have the u-strap under the swaybar. Has anyone experienced any problems with this bolt breaking? I don't plan on doing any slalom courses or anything, but if I can prevent any failure I would like to.
