Has anyone used the Clayton long arm cross member for a transfer case drop? The middle looks height adjustable.

The only height adjustment is to allow it to be used with an auto trans or a manual trans.....

Yes, I just did this when I installed the LS/4L60. The drop isn't very large, but it's more than 0.

I waited too long to put it in my previous post, but it's kinda expensive to be used for a tcase drop

I've never used Clayton crossmember. But I have used s Rusty's 1 inch drop crossmember. You don't loose any ground clearance like lowering your crossmember normally does.

Save up and buy a SYE. The mounts on their crossmember already hang low enough. Middle section is not adjustable.

well it was an option to use as a drop because i have the np242 so if i hack and tap i need a new rear shaft. I could use the drop of the cross member then save for a DS and LAs.
Unless you are going to go long-arms, I wouldn't use a Claytons crossmember because (unless they have a new product that I don't see on their website) they have the long-arm mounts hanging down below the crossmember. No reason to have that hanging down there unless you are using it.
